A Novel Guide in association with Fluid Foundation have set
up a competition for budding London writers.
The competition is simple, write a short story about
an area of London and submit it into Anovelguide.com.
Entertaining stories will be published by Fluid Foundation on a monthly basis
and the writer of the best story
each month will receive a Hewlett Packard Digital Camera.
The winner / winners will also be published in the 2006 edition of
A Novel Guide to London.
As stated before the stories can be fact or fiction but should enable the reader to get
a real feel of what a specific area in London is like.
We are interested in short stories of between 500 and 3000 words about the following areas.
The West End,
Islington, Camden, Hampstead, Maida Vale, Paddington & Bayswater,
Notting Hill,
Kensington & Chelsea, Victoria, The South Bank, Brixton, The City, Shoreditch & Hoxton.
The deadline for the competition is the 30th of June 2006.
